Helene Dontigny

Born in 1965 in Trois-Rivières, she stood out from a young age for her boundless imagination and her ingenuity in the face of challenges. Her artistic journey began with watercolor, but she found this medium limited due to her perfectionism, preferring oil which offered her more latitude for retouching.

After a career as a nurse, she retired and devoted herself fully to her passion for painting. Attracted by animals, she excelled in the representation of minute details, scrutinizing her canvas several times a day in search of perfection. The works, imbued with vibrant colors, reflect his joyful and dynamic personality. For Dontigny, the main thing lies in the pleasure of creating, and she finds her greatest satisfaction in artistic creation.
